No Risk, No Reward!

No Risk, No Reward!

This mantra perhaps makes even more practical sense if some perspective is given to it and it’s rephrased to low-risk, low-reward over higher-risk, higher reward. Otherwise yeah, that is the approach it takes to make a success out of gambling to the tune of those of us who would refer to ourselves as professional gamblers instead of those pure chance-taking gamblers who rely solely on the luck of the draw.

You see if we’re to talk about those of us who are successful gamblers — in other words, those of us who can honestly say that gambling is a viable source of consistent income, in comparison to those budding pro gamblers who fall off, the one thing which sets the two apart is patience. Well perhaps this patience can be paired with consistency, but in this context, it’s one in the same thing.

I know, I know, this declaration perhaps induces the exclamation of “Well look who’s talking,” since I admittedly appear to lack the patience and consistency of which I speak, given that I often get bored very quickly with one locale and never hesitate to hit the hotel of a casino in a different time zone. The patience and consistency are directed at the gambling itself and at the lifestyle surrounding it. So actually I do possess these two qualities and brought together they make for a powerful force with which the gambling world can be made into your playground — a playground I particularly find a lot of joy in.

So the patience and consistency must be directed at the gambling itself and with that comes the emergence of the low-risk, low-reward versus higher-risk, higher-reward shibboleth synonymous with successful pro gamblers who are honest about where their success comes from. PS – we’re willing to share this because most people just don’t have the willpower to see it all the way through in any case. I can tell you that you need to be patient in implementing a certain strategy and you could perhaps conclude that I’m probably giving you the short end of the stick after sticking at it for a while and not realising the expected results.

It’s a matter of either having the patience or not or perhaps even more importantly, learning to develop that patience in your consistency.

Otherwise figuring this gambling thing out all comes down to odds. Yes, the house wins in the end, but these are winnings tallied up from all gamblers, not necessarily from each gambler individually, so for the likes of myself and other pro gamblers we have a cash-positive track record with each casino, meaning we’ve won more than we’ve lost.So since it’s an odds thing — what it basically entails is the lower the amount of money you bet with, the lower the winnings you’ll potentially amass, and the other way around as well. Think about the roulette table as a basic example — if you put a $5 chip on the same number which someone else put 20 $5 chips, who walks away with the bigger winnings if the ball lands on that same number?

On the flip side, however, the bigger bettor stands to lose more per spin, so it comes down to a matter of narrowing down the odds to that pocket of opportunity when you’re most likely to win. If the number 30 hasn’t been drawn for the last 600 spins on the roulette table, for example, you best bet it’s due to come up soon so that’s when you go big with your bets with the hope of winning big.
